It's no understatement to say that the next two weeks could be the most important ones of the year for FUI staff and interns! At this point we've crossed the halfway mark of the project. Interns are well into their site experiences, have had a few weeks living in community and are developing deeper relationships in their process groups. The point? Students are well out of their comfort zones - a place we often find they are more open to God's life-changing work. Through these experiences Jesus has been challenging and inviting them to deeper places of learning, transformation and relationship.
We yearn to see students transformed, campuses renewed and world changers developed. That's why we do what we do as InterVarsity/FIFUL staff. As we look at these next two weeks we know interns have crucial choices ahead of them. Would you join us in praying that God would help these students to keep pressing in, to keep seeking and to allow God to bring deep transformation in their lives that will bless the world? Pray that students wouldn't give in to the temptation to just coast to the end, but that they would dig deep and find these two weeks to be a profound experience of God in their lives that shape everything about how they see life as they head back to campus and beyond.
